SOUNDS OF THE 70'S PRESENTS...
THE MIXTURES - The Push Bike Song
THE GEEBEES - Looking and sounding like the Beegees!
The group who ‘taught the world to sing’ are remarkably celebrating 40 years of hit records, television appearances, concert tours and royal appointments by touring the UK with their entertaining, hit filled concert and they are delighted to be launching the tour at The Shaw Theatre.
Formed in 1969 by original Seeker Keith Potger, The New Seekers soon found success with their first world wide hit ‘Look What They’ve Done to my Song Ma’ which was quickly followed by ‘The Nickel Song’ and ‘Never Ending Song of Love’ which provided their first number one record. ‘I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing’ again took them to the top of the charts and amongst their many other hits were ‘Beg, Steal or Borrow’, ‘Circles’, ’You Won’t Find Another Fool Like Me’ and’ I Get a Little Sentimental Over You’.
The New Seekers are proud to have achieved this remarkable ‘landmark’ which coincides with an exciting career revival which has seen them perform recently on many TV and radio programmes along with appearances at Buckingham Palace and St. James’s Palace. Their record sales of 35 million looks like getting even bigger with their recent ‘Live in Concert’ and brand new studio albums.
